- Basilica of Bom Jesus:Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the most important tourist places in Goa. It is a church which was constructed in 1605. It is a very important landmark for Catholics, as this is the place where the incorrupt body of St. Francis Xavier is kept. Here you will get to witness the modern art gallery. The building is one of the most popular baroque style structure in India. To get the best experience, you must visit the Basilica in the month of December as this is when the feast and novena take place due to Christmas.
- Fort Aguada:Fort Aguada is a Portuguese fort and was built in the 17th century. It is located over Mandovi River. The fort is known for its lighthouse which has 4 levels offering a beautiful view of the sunset. The purpose of the fort was to protect the Dutch and Marathas. The fort is namedAguada from the Portuguese word ‘Agua’ which means source of fresh water for sailors. The fort can store water up to 2,376,000 gallons of water.

Panjim is 60 kms from the waterfall. The name of the waterfalls translate to Sea of Milk as it resembles to flow of milk down the hill. Dudhsagar waterfalls is 310 m high and flows in four tiers on the Mandovi river. In monsoon season the waterfall is in full flow and so it is considered as th best time to visit the attraction..
- Chapora Fort:Chapora Fort is surely one of the most famous tourist destination in Goa which is commonly known as the ‘DilChata Hai fort’. It was built in 1717 by the Portuguese offering views of the Chapora River and the sea. The fort was actually made by a muslin ruler name Adil Shah and back then it was called Shahpura. The fort offer stunning views of the Vagator beach which is adjoining along with Arabian Sea.
- Vagator Beach:The Vagator beach is one of the most popular and beautiful beaches in Goa, located 21 kilometer from Panjim. The beach is divided in two major parts named Little Vagator and Big Vagator. Little Vagator is also known as Ozran Beach. The beach is known for its endless views, lively shacks, and parties. You can also participate in watersports at Vagator beach.
